Automated balloon dilation control system


The developed automated control system will allow making balloon dilatation under constant objective control over the process of expanding the lumen of biological object by recording acoustic emission signals emanating from the site of the operation and thereby improving the method of making balloon dilatation. automated control system has two main parts: software and hardware. The software part of the automated control system will analyze incoming acoustic emission signals and control the operation of the pump, which creates an excessive load on the walls of the dilated organ. The hardware of the automated control system will consist of a real-time electromechanical device that provides a deformed deformation of the stenotic section, as well as a device for recording acoustic emission signals.
